Compared to Maclaren, it's just OK, January 4, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Bumbleride 2011 Flite Lightweight Compact Travel Stroller, Fog (Baby Product) I have a Maclaren Quest Sport umbrella stroller and there's an issue with the brakes that is irritating me, so I ordered the BumbleRide Flite with the intention of replacing the Maclaren. I have the BumbleRide Indie jogging stroller and I love it. Unfortunately, I don't love the Flite, and will be returning it. Overall, this stroller feels like a Version 1.0 - many refinements needed. If I'd only used the cheapie $10 umbrella strollers, I might like this one better. However, it's priced like a Maclaren so I think it should be compared to one.
Pros:
- Once it's folded, it stays tightly folded (unlike my Quest, which droops a bit) and if you lock the wheels, you can lean it against a wall (can't do that with the Quest, which drives me nuts).
- Harness latch is very easy to operate (though a toddler could undo it on his own).
- Footrest adjustment is very easy.
- It comes with a car seat adaptor, which is pretty much unheard of in the lightweight umbrella... Read more

Great lightweight stroller!, January 13, 2012 This review is from: Bumbleride 2011 Flite Lightweight Compact Travel Stroller, Lava (Baby Product) As far as umbrella strollers go, this one is awesome! It feels substantial and good quality and It's very light and easy to fold - it is not a one handed fold, but I have found that most strollers that say they are one handed still take two hands. The fold is very quick though. I also love that there is a carrying strap.
The center of gravity isn't bad. I can hang a lighter bag from the handles with no problem. The basket is small - but for a compact stroller, what do you expect? You access the basket from the front, so even when the seat is reclined it is easy to get to.
The steering is amazing! I easily steered it one handed through narrow isles while holiday shopping - something I never could have done with my travel system. Speaking of travel systems - you don't need one! This stroller comes with the adapter bar for the Graco (and other) car seat. An extra purchase with most other strollers!

I would call it a "luxury umbrella stroller" due to how well it is made and functions. The flite is the perfect stroller for both infants and toddlers. The stroller comes with a universal adaptor bar so we can easily use our Chicco Keyfit infant seat...no need for a snap n go. We also have a BOB stroller (which I also love) but we had to pay an extra $50 or so for the infant seat adaptor. The Flite is so easy to open and close and pushes like a dream. It is truly the perfect mall stroller b/c of it's small footprint and amazing turning radius. I can open doors with one hand and easily push the stroller through with just a few fingers. The wheels have shocks so it's great for walking around the neighborhood too. The storage basket is pretty small but I have everything I need in in my diaper bag, which I hang from the handlebars. I also love that it comes with a drink holder that fits a water bottle perfectly. We have the Seagrass color... Read more
