We called Uppababy and they sent us a new stroller right away. The frame seems slightly sturdier and so far so good. The only difference that I noticed was that the back fabric was now orange instead of white and the orange color was a bit louder than the previous version. Overall very happy with the stroller again.
I was impressed with Uppababy's customer service: everyone I interacted with (by phone and by email) was friendly, quick and effective. They actually give you their name and you get an assigned customer service person that follows-up with you. So refreshing!

We absolutely loved this stroller until the aluminum frame snapped in two! The screws that hold the fabric and the harness are drilled right into the aluminum tubing and I believe this is what structurally weakens it. While we did use the stroller every day, this seems to be a product defect and not due to any out-of-the-ordinary use. The stroller is only 4 month-old... Read more

We already have uppababy vista and very happy with that stroller, buying another uppababy product was a straight forward decision for us. I still did quiet a bit of research and comparison, and decided to go with g-luxe anyways.
I bought the stroller without looking at it at the store. I was surprised that its a little bigger then i imagined, but still very light. I am very happy with the product. It folds and unfolds fairly easily, great shade extension (same as on vista and its very useful), the wheels are actually not plastic, its a soft foamy-rubbery-like material, which makes the ride smoother, nice size basket, and i really like the style and design of the stroller, very modern/euro (i bought the teal color), oh and the shoulder strap and a cup holder are nice additions. the seat is very soft and removable, which makes it easy to clean. The delivery being an international shipment arrived earlier than expected, installation was easy and a breeze. We have been using this stroller for a month now and we absolutely are loving it !!! Two Thumbs Up for the lightweight, recline position and a fantastic shade canopy. As we live in a country which is not very wheelchair, baby stroller friendly and the lack of ramps, Uppababy G luxe thus is easy and super lightweight to carry up and down those stairs, even with our boy sitting in the stroller.
The upright stand position after folding is fantastic, it does not fall as easily as some would have described.
The material is easy to clean and once it is cleaned with either a wet wipe or a cloth, it looks as good as new.
